Jonah's a great name and doesn't need a nickname. You can still call him JoJo or Jo or whatever as an endearment when you're speaking directly to him, but he will probably just be known as Jonah.

JFC. It’s nit a big deal. Many, many of my first cousins share common family names and are similar ages. We literally have three Johns all writhing a year of each other. Everyone can tell everyone apart, no one goes home with the wrong family. They will survive with similar nicknames. I can’t beluebe your SIL changesbthe name she wanted to choose for her own child.
