Wow you all will hate on anything just to hate on it. I think it’s a cute photo. Probably better than most photos I’ve seen all day long of the gratuitous Facebook and instagram postings to “the best dad ever!!!”

IMHO it's not about her beating anyone at the game of life, it's more like acknowledging what she signed up for. She is trying to rewrite the rules, and as we all know, it's a pretty tricky move to be change agent. If you want to have a private life, so be it.... I am not a MM hater...I just think she is in over her head and doesn't have adequate understanding or support for her position.

It feels like what worked well for her Tig audience isnt really flying now. I loved Tig. But everything now is a different scale, different role, etc. and She doesn't understand the institution she has married into or its role. Hell bent on her way or the highway. It just seems like she could try meeting the institution halfway.

I’m sorry, but your post comes off somewhat ironic on a board that is pretty much based on the interests of people who know what they signed up for, but need some understanding and support.

So.. she knows what she signed up for, and is making (perceived) flubs along the way.

Kate had YEARS to be groomed into protocol, and she wasn’t an adult with a life, career, etc. of her own when she was sucked into the Royal machine. She probably hasn’t had a thought of her own in years.

What’s saddest is your posts basically demonstrates the problem with society : if you make a choice, or have a circumstance, you should be kicked when your down, instead of being offered a hand to lift you up. The other irony is that if you know anything about the charities the Sussexes support, they’re making sure that people do get a hand up.

You could also realize the media can spin anything the way it wants. As much as I disagree with Mr. Trump often, I have enough friends in media to know that “fake news” is really a thing.

I think she's not lying for privacy she's just rolling out the baby photos for maximum publicity. This one will get a lot of talk but won't be the first full face shot. They'll hold that for a big day.

I think MM is pretty good at SM. She plays it like a publicity pro who did run blogs and work in Hollywood. Not my favourite picture in the world bit it's on brand. Doling out info little by little, featuring on the wedding band and the happiness of their family.
