This is probably a good time to recommend that you get a floatable waterproof phone case. You can take pictures under water with your iPhone.

So I have a 2 year old and she'd 100% know it was wrong to throw my phone in the water. My 8 month old would easily throw it in and not know it was bad.

Mom's fault for having her phone at the pool and not in a pool case. We use our pool phone cases every time, even if the phone stays in the bag.

PP here: my point is that it's okay if they disagree with me. I'll just pay for it myself. Yes, I'll think less of them but I'm not gonna lose any sleep over it.
