| Soup? Is he 90? |
OP doesn't cook. |
You are cruel PP. That is so disrespectful. |
hey! I love soup! I find it soothing. |

Table manners are incredibly important, more than they *should* be (because really, why does it matter how people eat?). They are important in social and professional situations, to present oneself well and network successfully. Perhaps none of us will have lunch with the Queen, but we will all have lunch with our work hierarchy or others we wish to impress. This is an ongoing struggle in our house. DH and the kids are complete slobs. I do my best to teach them manners. Uphill work! |
| I can't stand chewing noises. My DH has totally reasonable table manners and he makes a ton of internal chewing noise when he eats. I have to stop eating sometimes because it makes me sick. Also other noises like pen clicking. I think I do have a touch of misophonia and DH and I joke about it. It is better if there is ambient noise. |
| I would never be able to survive living over in a place like Vietnam where everyone is expected to slurp their noodles. Shudder. |
| Does one eat soup or drink soup? |
| You need medication. |
well that's a whole other debate worthy of a S/O spin-off |
