Listen, we get that you need to push your anti-glyphosate agenda any damn chance you get. But to come on a thread where poor OP suddenly lost her dog and blame its death on Roundup just shows how truly stupid and heartless you are. Unless you have proof, shut up. So sorry OP. Losing a dog sucks. And sometimes you’ll never know why. Hugs to you. |
| OP yes I had a sudden unexplained death and when I brought my dog to the emergency vet (she had "crashed" after I noticed her eyes looked weirdly sunken but recovered) they offered no explanation. THey wanted to keep her overnight for tests, and one vet tech slipped that "she might not make it through the night without fluids" while the actual vet said she did not need fluids and seemed stable for now, and I could take her to my regular vet in the morning. I just knew she was about to die. I thought, if she dies, she will die at home with me, not alone in a place full of scared animals. She crashed on the way back home but then recovered and I held her in my arms for another hour until she died. Its haunted me for years but reading other peoples stories made me feel better and also offered some possible explanations. BTW I did ask the vet specifically if she showed signs of being poisoned and she answered somewhat emphatically "no"like maybe someone else was also asking this question. So so sorry for your loss. |
+1 Yes. Hugs to all. These posts are very painful to read because I know how incredibly hard it is to lose a beloved pet. Their time with us is just too brief, yet they bring us so much joy when they're with us. |
