Need 8th grade graduation soundtrack songs

Wouldn’t you think it inmportant that the kids know the songs? And I think songs for 8th grade should be more upbeat than the big soul-searching songs.

Not to mention most of these are moldy oldies from before they were born.

I cannot stand the term graduation being used for ceremonies other than high school or college.

I am a middle school teacher and at my school they use the term transition ceremony instead.


That sounds like they are dying.

Or changing genders.

Our kids like current stuff, not "our" music from the 80s/90s.

Definitely High Hopes (Panic at the Disco) and I'm On Top of the World (Imagine Dragons)

I’d add Life Is A Highway because it’s hard to find songs from their school days that are somewhat uplifting and have acceptable lyrics.
