Mom's name as middle name

Both my son and daughter have one of the grandmothers maiden names as their middle names-not the same one. I love carrying on the maternal names. I will admit both surnames happen to be usable as a name, I doubt we would have done it with different maiden names.

We used my grandmother's first name as DD's middle because my grandma was such an awesome, cool lady. I was named for my grandma, so people generally think I used my name for my daughter's middle. I love telling my daughter where her middle came from as they never met.
