What to do instead of Squats

There’s nothing wrong with body weight squats, but there’s also nothing wrong with barbell squats, and it’s not out of line to point out that for a guy (don’t know OPs gender), 120 pounds isn’t useful for barbell squats.


People have to start somewhere, even with barbell squats. Plenty of men have crap for lower body strength. The people you're describing have all been lifting for a while, right? It's disingenuous to use such extreme examples as the norm for barbell squats.
