You have no idea what either marriage is like. Charles and Camilla clearly have a very strong connection. They both were willing to harm a lot of people and hurt themselves in the public eye to be together. I do not think this is admirable. I don’t think he thinks she is interesting or has/had a strong connection with her, but she is appropriate and a good mother and wife.

You're describing the relationship of many middle aged couples. They had an attraction, she was around at the time he wanted to settle down. Passion fades (particularly when you add 3 kids to the equation), and is replaced with a more mature love.

I don’t think there was much of an attraction on his part ever.

Yes, that's clearly why they dated for 9 years when he could have gone off with anyone.

He did go off! That is the entire point.

I'm a bit of an Anglophile and like looking at the pretty pictures. I don't really care about sordid drama. I just want to see smiling royals with nice/interesting clothes and cute kids. And castles.

She looked better on St. Patrick's Day but let's be real - Kate kept her composure impeccably throughout the 2000s when William cheated on her and dumped her for someone else three times. She never strayed and her tears were private.

If your husband is spending all of his free time with his friends and hobbies maybe you need to check your marriage.

I think they love each other and have genuine affection for one another. I also think he's had problems with infidelity and I absolutely believe the affair rumors.
