Oh, okay. Proof for this crazy claim?

I’ve known guys who need to cut weight for wrestling/MMA that did this.

I don't get it...what do cotton balls soaked in OJ do??

I looked it up yesterday: https://www.healthline.com/health/eating-disorders/ways-the-cotton-ball-diet-could-kill-you

It just sounds so awful

They fill you up so you aren't as hungry.

I used to really like Dr. Dray, before she started promoting items that she's clearly getting paid for. She's good at explaining the science behind why skincare products do/don't work.

I'm also vegan, and there's a pretty strong link between veganism and eating disorders. I've also wondered if maybe she has a medical condition that causes dramatic weight loss and makes it difficult to work a regular job, because why would a dermatologist want to switch to a career making youtube videos? Seems way less lucrative.

But she looks 70. Mein Gott, sometimes age is not "just a number"...

Untreated diabetes?

She was always very skinny but once a person ages that skinny looks terrible. Makes you look much older than you might be.

There are plenty of older women that look great and are not skin and bones. Shania Twain is rocking her mature, curvy body and she looks so healthy. JLo - amazing. Beyonce - gorgeous and strong.

Dion has always been thin and very active. And....holy crap she is only 51. WTH?

They should stick to cocaine. This cotton ball thing is uncivilized.

That cotton ball thing...can you imagine if they got obstructed and had to go to the doctor to get things moving again....yikes.

I remember reading about models doing this at least 20 years ago when I was a teen and seriously considered it. Envisioning cotton balls working their way through your intestines freaked me out enough to avoid it. And I say that as someone who thought laxative abuse was a great idea at 16.

I agree. Frail, too.

Picking and choosing celine pictures in this thread. As others have said she has always been thin... this picture was from September 18 and while yes, thin, she is not anorexic. Anorexics don't have musculature like that. She is just getting older and having a lot less work done than her peers I think. She also favors tight held back hair and has a long neck which that accentuates. I like that she is so fashion forward and owning her own aging.

Also another series of photos from the fashion week this summer:

She looks incredible in that shot on the right - the combination of slim and powerful you only really see on dancers.
