I just sold my 2013 Bob last week. Feeling a little guilty. |
These are $400-$500 strollers. People buying them expect quality and safety. Don't charge me $500 and then say "well you should have checked some lever."
Do better Britax. |
This makes me laugh at the smug cult of BOB. How’s your status stroller now? Ahhahahahahahahaha
Seriously though, they should recall it if people are getting hurt. Even if it’s an operator error it sounds like there’s a problem with the design. |
Yep, that's pretty much ruined Britax for me. Not giving them my money ever again and I never had a BOB. |
Damn. We have a 2014 Ironman we run with all the time. Why can't they just send a patch or fix?
I will say that Britax voluntarily sent me a fix for my B-35 under a recall, |
Just today Britax recalled Bobs with car seat attachments. Strange.

You laugh at people who have the nerve to want to exercise (safely) and be a parent at the same time? What is wrong with you? |
I don't associate BOBs with "smug cult" and "status stroller". There's much, much smugger brands, and usually the nannies are pushing them. |
+1. So weird! You'd laugh harder if I was trying to run with an umbrella stroller. |
This was very stupid on the part of Britax. They have eroded trust of their brand with this, and that can do far, far more damage than a voluntary recall ever could have. |
Let me guess, you also threatened to boycott United after the Dr. Dao dragging incident then flew with them a year later? |
Let me educate you: this is exactly what victim-blaming is. |
+10000. I have two BOBs (single/double) and multiple Britax car seats. I need to upgrade older child out of his Boulevard, and was planning to get a Britax booster, but now will probably go with Clek or Diono. |
No need for personal responsibility. Why even bother with instructions and asembly manuals if "victims" aren't responsible for reading them? |
