Yep, this. They run from backyard to backyard and they love hills, bushes etc. Especially when they get to the age of playing with nerf guns. A nice Hill is good for sledding - ours is gently sloping and I have up to 10 kids in my backyard sledding for hours.


You need to buy Umbrella insurance for a few million


I do lol. 2 MM. Better than having them in the house playing video games.

There needs to be some level area, preferably at least half. We did pass on a few homes due to no usable yard.

You can put up swings in a slopes yard. If you have big trees you have hit the gold mine - tree fort with swing, rope ladder, etc. But even if no trees you can have a handyman build a swing set on a hill - they sink the legs into concrete piers and the legs are, of course, different lengths.

Exactly. Mine are never in our yard, always at the local playground. And I never see kids on swings in their yards. Completely unused, without fail.
