Too much!!! The more you talk, the more you’re giving her to respond to. Less is more.” “No thanks!” |
|
I’ve replied no, twice from my husband’s cousin and her R+F crap.
Since then, I ignore. If she doesn’t want to take no for an answer, she simply won’t be answered. |
I'm sorry - no. When you go to Safeway to get some cilantro for the guac you're about to make and they don't have any do you say "Oh gosh, I should just support them anyway and get parsley instead." NO! There is never any obligation to purchase unwanted items from people we know for any reason: because they're women, friends, family, or whatever...no. There are many reasons why that is a bad idea, but if you actually like the product feel free to get something. |
Support by buying a $300 face cream? F that. |
Hi MLM-er! Tell you what, why don't MLM nuts help woman out by not trying to push scams on them? That would be great for the sisterhood too! I think it's repulsive that woman who have lost tons of money on these scams and made almost nothing in return will them turn around and try to bully friends and family into the scam - knowing full well the odds of money being made are insanely low. Shame on you. |
I help people who help me. People who interrupt my life to try to guilt me into buying products I neither want nor need, so that they can personally profit, are not helping me. |
| An old friend of mine is into MLMs and did not leave me alone. She succeeded in me trying a stupid diet shake regiment which did nothing for me, even made things worse I think. Then she took it all personally when I did not want to try products form the third MLM she is on. Told me that she is an entrepreneur and her own boss, and will make millions and will retire in a few years....and I will be still working at my stupid office job..... and this while she, her husband and their two kids were visiting us and staying at OUR place.......she got really sucked into it and nearly every post of hers on FB is about this. Not sure why she does not create a separate FB for her MLM business. |

Experiences:
College friend shilling Beach Body. Just told her NO. Also wanted all of us to sign up to her Ebates account so she could benefit? Not sure how this works but said no as well. Neighbor - think she shilled for Beauty Counter - it's been over 5 years so cannot recall for sure but think that was the company. Wanted me to have a party for her at my house. Sold me some products that she swore would change my life. Said there was a money back guarantee. This stuff did not work for me so asked for a refund. I received my refund but she never spoke to me again. Good riddance to bad rubbish. Another "friend" is always sending invites for Stella & Dot. Told her NO the first time many years ago but the invites keep coming! Finally - am tired of invites that say "Sip and See." ENOUGH ALREADY!!!! Even worse? #MOMBOSS |
| Just a bunch of haters on this site. I sell the beach body items and everyone ASKS me for them, I don’t have to solicit. I’m my own boss, make mid six figures and am happier than ever thanks to supportive and loyal friends and family |
Umm, no. A bunch of realists on this site. Beach Body is a bunch of processed crap and is horrible. But glad you are doing well. Your family and friends must really love you if they are footing your lifestyle for that crap. Signed, Former Beach Body client |
| I did Beach Body through a friend because I watned to try the 21 Day Fix. I will say that the Fix (portion control) worked really well and I liked the workout videos. However, I'm not spending over $130 every month for some damn shakes. I did one month and cancelled the shakes but kept the online video library for workouts but that is only about $100/year. My friend has gone completely nuts being a Beach Body coach. She posts workouts daily on FB and IG, talks about her lifechanging "tribe". It's too much. |

Send her this link to a podcast that explains the history of mlm's and that they are scams. I am on episode 7 and it is really fascinating.

I call BS, but here are a couple serious questions: When did you start doing this? How big is your down line? Am I correct in understanding that you net $500k+ per year from selling Beach Body? |
| "Wow, its so great to hear from you, Jen! You wouldn't believe how many of our old high school cheerleader friends have reached out to me recently, and they all just wanted to sell me stuff! Its so nice to hear from someone who isn't a user and who genuinely wants to catch up." |
| "No, thank you. I don't support the MLM industry. I'd be happy to send you some information about how they prey on women if you need some support to move on." |
