Of the many things for which President Donald Trump is now known, one is his frequent trips to Florida resort Mar-a-Lago and various Trump golf clubs. Some of the president's opponents have criticized these excursions because they're funded by taxpayer money. Every president goes on holidays, but it's worth taking a look at how much Trump's vacations cost in relation to other things the government spends money on.

Donald Trump's regular jaunts to his Mar-a-Lago club in Florida appear to be costing taxpayers a small fortune. And this doesn't include Melania's decision to stay in NYC for her kid's school. Trump is a huge drain on taxpayer resources.

But rest assured, his travel expenditures will be far more than Obama's because, as others have pointed out: 1) he spends every weekend at one of his properties, 2) he has a huge family that flies everywhere with secret service agents, 3) Melania's decision to stay in NYC for months so her son could finish the school year which cost 110$ mn.
