R propaganda or truth? Lie much?

Link isn’t loading for me but if you’re talking about that stunt bill to ban sanctuary cities, you are making my point. The Dillon Rule prevents any localities from making a sanctuary city law so there is no reason for the state to ban them except propaganda.

But why is Northam refusing to say which one he was in the photo?

I suspect he is trying to protect the other guy. Either that or Northam is the guy in the KKK outfit, which I think is worse than the other outfit. Why would s yearbook even allow this photo? It will be interesting to see if the yearbook staff and supervisors get outed. The picture is disgusting, but its existence and publication in a yearbook show that racism wasn’t understood in the 80s. I’m a child of the 80s and I’m not sure I appreciated the horror of the KKK, which is a sad reflection on my education.

My theory: he is in blackface and the KKK is his date/girlfriend/wife?

He said he could not remember which he was--that is not believable.

He needs to resign, no matter which one he is.

Even if it’s not him in the photo, he still chose the photo to represent him in his yearbook page. that is bad enough.

The elected officials of the state of Virginia thought there was a reason to ban them and so they passed a bill (which the governor vetoed). Now if you want to call that Republican propaganda OK.

Maybe you believe this yearbook thing was a mix up by the editors too?

The elected R legislators wanted to score political points understanding that many, like you, had no understanding of Virginia law and could be easily manipulated. It was vetoed because there was no legitimate reason to pass such a law.

Are we being manipulated now about his med school yearbook?

Of course he will get a pass. Double standards depending on your political party. Disgusting.

I'm from Hampton Roads, and it was 1984. People were still burning crosses on my black neighbors lawn. Northam was raised in rural VA and then went to VMI, a stand conservative upbringing. What he did was wrong in 1984, but pretty much accepted by his peers. They even let it go into yearbook, astoundingly.

I'm glad he apologized, and took responsibility for something reprehensible he did 34 years ago.

Republicans elected Trump, of recent pussy grabbing fame, and then threw full support of Kavanaugh, who denied he was a raging drunk in grad school and then bragged about it recently in public speeches. Sorry, but no calls for resignation from the GOP for moral lapses canbe taken seriously anymore.

And, on top of that, how bad is opposition research by the VA GOP that they just found and released this now?

Maybe Northam should declare he is seeking the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination?

Only DJT our NAACP and Ellis Island awarded president has the qualifications to heal this nation from the unfixable damage democrat Klan-gate has caused.

True. Democrats and sacrifice and eat their own in the name of progressive purity, no matter how they’ve been in public life (example, Al Franken). Republicans deny, deflect, and ultimately ignore and move on — Trump, Kavanaugh, etc.
