Yes! Harris Teeter paper towels are surprisingly as good as bounty. The wegmans brand are too. My mom would only buy bounty and she switched after seeing the Harris Teeter brand at my house when she visited for a holiday.

We bought them once because my preschooler was so excited that the guy on front looked like her uncle.

We never looked back.

They are just as good as Bounty, and the pick a size means you use so much less of it.

Every kind of paper towel comes in the pick a size. When you buy Brawny you’re supporting the Koch Brothers.

Costco is the cheapest when they go on sale, provided you use the membership for gas etc. Otherwise Walmart or target are your best bets. Agree with the others on Wegmans paper towels but the Costco ones are on par and cheaper, I think.

I am also looking for ideas for cheaper brands. My husband is very brand specific, but I don’t care as much as long as the quality is there. We have found store brands to be not as good for these three things (paper towels, laundry detergent, and dishwasher detergent).

I buy all of this at Sam’s Club, Members Mark brand (store brand.) Very satisfied.

I find Costco is good as well, and that I like being able to buy a lot at once and not have to think about it. I also buy when they go on sale.

Amazon for the dishwasher tabs.

Sometimes Amazon for tp but not many great deals lately.

Usually I buy tp and paper towels at Target on one of those buy $50, get $15 gc deals.

I did a price analysis between Target and Costco... it's a tossup. But if you get a redcard with Target and with their sales, Target sometimes is cheaper.

Though instead of Bounty paper towels, I use Sparkle. They come in half sheets, which we prefer.

We buy bounty paper towels from costco, and they come in half sheets.

Paper towels are so wasteful. I stopped years ago. Go to ikea and buy $20 dishcloths for $20. I do not miss paper towels at all.

I am a hardcore recycler, but I refuse to give up my paper towels. Love them. No worry about bacteria growing in a reusable dish towel. Trees are a renewable resource so I don't worry about that.

I guess that it uses up energy to manufacture them and transport them to you. On the other hand it’s better than using Lysol /antibacterial wipes which never degrade.

Why is Persil better?

Frankly I’ve started just using plant based detergents like Mrs Meyers , Method and Seventh Generation. But what is so good about Persil (which literally looks like oil).
