Hollywood and Greenbelt are good but very different neighborhoods IMO.

I think that Old Greenbelt is more hippie/crunchy and whiter than the surrounding neighborhoods. Old Greenbelt has the small GHI town houses and then some free standing homes around the lake and in Boxwood Village. Most of Greenbelt is not walkable to metro but there are a lot of buses that go between the town center and Metro.

Hollywood seems more racially diverse and there are a lot more blue collar families living there. You can easily walk from most parts of Hollywood to Metro if that is important to you.
