DP.. I think there are parts of this county where the class sizes are huge, and then there are parts where it's not. However, I don't know the stats on how many are "huge" and how many are not. Maybe someone has the time to compile the list. Not averages, but median.

28 - 3rd grade. Bethesda ES.

(I think you'll see some of the bigger class sizes at BE. Still love the school, but the class sizes are large)

Our fifth grade has a wide variance. I noticed one class had 18 but one had 27.

I would say 26 and 27 kids in an elementary school class is way too many.
Anything more than 20 seems like too many to me.

my kids have 25 in 1st and 24 in 4th.
