Is it still safe to assume that any flu in our area is H1N1?

So now you, plus a child plus a few of your childs classmates are the small tiny number of reported cases of Influenza B? LOL

People having the flu are not being tested anymore - so these tests are not accurate or a true assessment of how many ppl had which flu. Yes of course the majority had H1N1 but dont rule it out as the ONLY flu going around right now. I am a different poster and have a few friends kids who insisted on the test results and it was the B strain. They wanted to know so they can avoid getting the vax for H1N1 but now they still have to worry about getting that shot.

It seems to me that most of the flu going around now is H1N1, but that the vax for that isn't very available. By the time it is available, it will not be peaking like it is now. I'm trying to at least get the seasonal flu shot now for my kids, and that is hard to find. Hopefully we can get that before seasonal flu peaks. This all makes me want to hide my kids at home for the next 6 months.
