Many famous entertainers do take time away from performing to get a higher education but it's not a requirement and many don't. Taylor Swift spent her time after high school turning herself from a famous singer into a juggernaut. She schooled the world, not the other way around (and I'm not even a fan).

Brooked Shields, for example, paused her career to attend Princeton and earned a degree in romance languages. This is something only someone with independent wealth and a love of the subject would do, since there is little career potential in that major.

Bradley Cooper graduated from Georgetown in 1997 with a degree in English. He didn't really start acting professionally until after college.

Mayim Bialik has a PhD in science, writes books, and has a website Grok Nation and a Youtube channel. I think it'll be interesting to see what she does when her tv show ends this season. Try to get more acting jobs? Go back to science?
