I regularly engage with Cheh and while I often don't agree with her its never been my sense that she doesn't listen so I'd love to hear some specific examples of how she doesn't listen? If anything my main complaint about Cheh is she gets paralyzed by controversy and no longer sticks her neck out on anything and we end up with this status quo bias on everything in Ward 3. |

This.
I have conversations -- both public and private -- with her from time to time. Privately, she always has the right reading of the situation. Publicly, sometimes she's too eager to appear receptive to poor arguments even though she knows they're poor. |
She did next to nothing when Bowser was playing her little games with the Murch renovation -- Grosso did more, somehow -- at least until the kids made that video and she was shamed into speaking up. Keep in mind that her own kids went to Murch. |
| She wasn't interested in charters until their numbers swelled. That's pretty expedient. |
This isn't true - Grosso loves to grandstand but it was in fact Cheh who came up with the money. In fact she always comes up with the necessary money for capital projects in Ward 3. Just like there are Eaton parents stressing about whether that project will be fully funded there were Murch parents who stressed about the funds for that project and before that Janney parents who stressed about both of the Janney expansions not being funded and before that Deal parents stressed about whether both of the Deal projects would be fully funded and before that Wilson parents stressed about whether that project would be fully funded. Yet every single school infrastructure project in Ward 3 has been fully funded and Grosso had nothing to do with that. |
