Best place to buy in Annapolis Area

^^yup the neighborhood where I grew up is 1.5-2mil at the end of the cul de sac where it’s waterfront and 300-400k split levels a block away.

I guess that’s why dville always comes up...at that price point, it’s like, do you want waterfront, or davidsonville? Lol.

Murray Hill, Bay Ridge, Severna Park (if you are considering Severn), Annapolis downtown and Eastport.

Why does everyone suggest Bay Ridge. There are a couple of nice houses but...

What about outside of Annapolis, like Gambrills?

That's what we're saying; all these places that are in or just outside of Annapolis are interchangeable. I posted about Key School above. People in the Key School community live in Edgewater, Gambrills, Davidsonville, Annapolis proper, Riva, Severna Park, Arnold, Cape St Claire... the little communities are not really well-defined and each of these have run down neighborhoods and also $1mm+ gorgeous homes within them.

Super active community. Tons of young families and endless neighborhood events, parties, etc.

My partner takes the bus from Annapolis to DC everyday and loves it. Its 1.25-1.5 hours each way but she is free to sleep, listen to podcasts, read etc rather than sit in traffic behind the wheel. Whats your price range? Ive been actively looking in the Annapolis market for about a year and we just found a house we are going to put an offer on. So if you want advice about real estate in Annapolis I can help you.

Thanks! I want to keep under 1.2. Would love house suggestions!

This has been helpful. Though would love more suggestions in Davidsonville and Crownsville. As well as the more sprawling parts of Annapolis. Im into the D'ville thing, though not thrilled with the McMansions.

I live in the heart of Bethesda now, where should I look in Annapolis for some walkability near the water under 1M? how about 500K?

Are you looking for waterfront or water access? Acreage? Easy commute to DC or Baltimore? Budget? I have lots of ideas but need more specifics to give recommendations….
