Put a small fan in your bathroom; use the oscillation feature. Let it run continuously. Wipe down your shower walls after showering. Check your seal around the toilet and tile caulking on the floor. You need to reduce the humidity in that area; running the bath exhaust helps, but it isn’t sufficient. Also, as someone mentioned, wipe your surfaces down with Lysol or another similar detergent. You should see a major improvement in a short time. |
If it's springtails, there might be water collecting just outside the house. An empty pot perhaps? That's how we got them. Pest control emptied water, sprayed inside and out, gone. |
The water was full of them btw. |
I agree with the pp who said book lice... they're definitely book lice, and if you think they're coming from inside of the walls, then you have a major problem with mold somewhere behind your sheetrock or walls. Look for a small leak possibly from the roof. It won't be big enough to notice it staining or sinking the ceiling, it will be just enough to trap the moisture inside of the walls, which will become a breeding ground for mold that you breathe in. You should have called someone about this when you first noticed that they were resistant to cleaners and you couldn't address the problem yourself. |
Termites. They started in my bedroom from a leak in the shower that affected the baseboards. Now they’ve moved to the sinks. I’m going to have the area tested for termites. |
Do you think OP is still searching for answers after two years? |
I can’t believe how many of you have bugs in your homes. It’s beyond disgusting. |
Check your math. |
Haha sorry I was going off the post at the top of this page. |
