Would you care if your 15-17 yo daughter had 10k or 20k followers on instagram?

Only way to have that many followers it to show boobs and booty.

I hope all of you parents that don’t care are regularly checking those DMs

My daughter has an Instagram and has about a 1,000 followers when I asked her about it she says she has her account on private and she only lets people she knows to follow her or mutual friends.

She knows 1,000 people as a teen? Very likely a thot.

How is she a thot if she has 1,000 followers??

A few girls at my daughter's school are this popular and I'm just not sure what their parents are thinking.

So many things wrong with this post.

A 15 year old or 16 year old or really any high schooler should not be posting a bunch of bikini pictures online.

Nor should they be attending a bunch of college parties, not to mention posting online pics of her partying with college men.

I would say that their parents are failures at being parents.

And why are we only discussing ‘daughters’ here?

We are assuming that most 15 year old boys are not posting bikini pictures of themselves online.

Hi cool party mom!

I bet you are the dcum 45 year old mom who thinks you still look 25.

The locati9n if where she lives and is already exists in the metadata of her photos.

I knew there were IG accounts for showing off college girls, but I guess there are high school ones now too. If your daughter is on here, you might want to talk to her.

My niece does makeup tutorials and is an amazing photographer. She has about 25K followers as well as a YouTube channel. She views her Instagram as a professional portfolio, so there is nothing scandalous there. She does make money both from Instagram and YouTube, and since she plans to extend this through college, etc she is surprisingly professional at 16.

It is possible for someone to have 10k subscribers on IG and not show a bit of skin. Or even their face.

My DD has a friend who does one of those "sensory" accounts. The kind where she cuts/smashes/crunches random objects for the sound that others find soothing. Very odd to me, but she has over 10k subscribers. In most videos you don't even see her hands, just the knife or whatever object she's using to crush the other object. I don't think she's making money off of it. DD said she's been approached by the FitTea (is that right?) and some makeup brush people to be influencers for them but she declined because she doesn't want to reveal the person behind the knife.

Just do an IG search with your location and the word thot after it and you'll find all kinds of pix. Maybe even your kid!

The only girls who have that many followers allow anyone to follow them (accounts are not private) and are attention seeking for all the wrong reasons and in the wrong ways. I'd be pissed at myself that I had so f*ed up raising my daughter if she ended up like that. Same goes for younger girls with multiple thousands of followers - like an 8th grader I know who has 5,000 and constantly posts overly sexualized pics in bathing suits and other skimpy clothing.

Noone is dumb , we all know what someone like that is all about and why.

This is basically correct. There are many internet sites that take these pictures of teenage girls and then (legally) post them onto their site for the enjoyment of old men. That's just the truth.

Every time I read "thot" on here I always think "Stop trying to make 'fetch' happen"
Seriously, THOT had a moment and it was a minute long and 2 years ago at best.
