Does anyone else watch their favorite tv shows multiple times?

Yep! I have watched and re-watched all 9 seasons of Everybody Loves Raymond twice already, and plan to do it again sometime this summer!

They just don't write comedy like that anymore.

I also love Seinfeld, Golden Girls and King of Queens - but nothing tops Raymond.

I've watched season 4 of The Wire 3 times I think. Once on my own, and twice for work.

Where do you work that they require you to watch The Wire???
I want to work there... (I've watched the series 3x). You must work for an inner city school system?
Otherwise, you somewhere in Hamsterdam?

(The other 2 series I keep coming back to are the Sopranos and Breaking Bad).

Well one was for grad school. I did an independent study and my advisor said, "Just write a paper on how The Wire can be used in the classroom." I thought it was bogus but I didn't care.

The other was indeed in an urban school district. I led a 'book club' that used The Wire. My colleagues loved it.

You don't want to work there though...

I never bothered to break into the DVDs because they were on in rerun so frequently. FX every morning and evening for a LONG time.

I re-watch Gilmore Girls every one-two years. Its so good and gets better upon every watch!

I do this.

But HOW do you do this with GG??? There’s like 3654497644 seasons!

7. There are 7 seasons of Gilmore Girls.

Girl don't get defensive! You do you.

I also rewatched Seinfeld with DH recently and it was more entertaining than I thought it would be. I've also seen a few favorite episodes of the Simpsons multiple times.

+1 arrested development. Brilliant writing. I could see myself watching the wire again too. I also rewatch a foodie British show called River Cottage to relax.

yes. West Wing and Gilmore Girls are high on the list. I'll rewatch old sitcoms, esp. Friends and Frasier when they are on. Also early seasons of Big Bang Theory.

I've watched all of the old Roseanne episodes more times than I can count. Usually, it's more that it's on in the background while I'm doing other things rather than me sitting an actively watching.

I could never rewatch the wire--so damn depressing.
