In fact, she probably is more hands on than any royal. Diana was considered hands on and still was criticized. That is one reason the Queen is giving her flak and one reason Will married her because she has middle class values of wanting to be with her kids!

Also, unless you are living with them you have no idea how hands on Will or Kate are so I would not comment on things you have no idea on which you speak.

I don’t understand how Kate always looks so miserable and tired but literally lives in a palace with full time household staff. She probably doesn’t even towel her own hair after a shower or make Er own bed, or do laundry or cook or even change her kids diapers. I’m very flummoxed as to why she appears so worn out.
