I agree. I don't think William was ever looking for a great love but someone with whom he would have stability and trust. That's more than a lot of marriages. |
| It's probably the pregnancy hormones making her feel grumpy and annoyed. |
+1 You def need trust and stability when you're royalty and constantly in the public eye/scrutiny. Plus, having 2 small kids and a 3rd on the way tests even the best of marriages. You can't stay in the honeymoon phase forever. |
| I don't think they would have a 3rd if they weren't happy with the state of their marriage. |
Some people are more reserved than others are and don't feel comfortable with PDA. You might catch them in an off guard moment showing affection for each other but if they think they are being looked at and analyzed they put on their reserved public personas. |
| ^It's a way of keeping what is private to them, private. |

Do you really think that picking a handful of photos out of the millions of photos taken of the couple is going to prove anything? Especially photos taken years apart?
Every time I glance at a photo of them they seem like a perfectly happy couple. Newsflash for you, being happily in love doesn't mean staring at each other with dopey faces and smiles 24/7. I'm not sure what your agenda is? By the way, the norm in the UK was that men didn't wear wedding rings. Only women did. It's more common for men to have wedding rings now but in aristocratic circles it's still normal for the male not to wear the ring. |
| OP, America is the only country where people think or are told they need to smile all of the time. You are reading your culture into theirs. |
| I thought one of the rules for the royals was that you're not supposed to show PDA - even holding hands (I thought I read that MM was breaking that rule by holding Harry's hand) |
PDA is a no-no, especially for the reigning monarch and the next in line to the throne. You will never see Will and Kate acting gushy in public, at least while the current Queen is alive. Stiff upper lip and all that. Harry and Kate are basically unshackled since there is 0.05% chance he will ever land on the throne. He essentially became a normal person once the The Spare was borne by Kate. |
Fixed..... |
| I think they are good partners who both knew what they were getting into. Its probably not the most passionate relationship but lots of successful marriages are not. Now Camielle and Charles...theres a love that will not die. I mean they really went through hell and high water to be together. They ruined lives in the process but truly could not stand to not be with one another. And it shows. |

There are millions of pictures of William and Kate deeply laughing.
They have young kids and she's pregnant with a third. That is stressful for anyone. But I actually see more photos of them cracking up at events---and Harry is with them a lot doing the same. |
| They've been together now for like 16 years! They have two young kids. Not really the season for passion - but doesn't mean they can't have a strong marriage and wonderful relationship. I've been with DH for 20 years and we are raising kids together. We have a few minutes of passion LOL but life mostly is a deep friendship and partnership at this point with some sex thrown in. |
