You could try Lake Placid, NY. Lots of fun, outdoor activities and the town has a decent number of restaurants and other things to do if the weather doesn't cooperate.
If you want to head west, then you could try Lake Tahoe in CA / NV or Estes Park, CO, which borders Rocky Mountain National Park. Both are beautiful. |
