If you are in a dead bedroom, do not make a 2018 resolution but rather issue a marital ultimatum. Decide how much sex you need, communicate that clearly, and set the expectation that this is a monogamous relationship dealbreaker.

Actually ours has slowed... the buildup to the holidays gets us going. All those twinkle lights! We will probably rev up again around Valentine’s Day. I’ll probably kick up my workouts, do a quick tan, get a facial, and some new thongs in the mean time.

I don't know if I posted, but I am one of the people who didn't have a great 2017 (or 2016) sex-wise. Our first child was born right at the beginning of 2016, after an unexpectedly high risk pregnancy where I was put on pelvic rest for the entirety. It was a struggle; we still had couple time, most of it entirely one-sided in terms of who got off (which was fine, that's about all we could do). But we definitely lost some of that ibtimicy, and trying to get it back while wading through having a newborn / being firsttime parents was...slow progress. But suddenly in October / November something really clicked, and it no longer felt like we were just going through the motions. It's gotten better and better from there. I just turned 31...I am convinced the whole "dirty thirties" thing is spot-on. I can't believe how much sex is on my mind these days. We've been together for about 9 years, and sex was always good but I feel like it's just at another level now. He's gone on a 3 night trip this week and I am missing the HECK out of him in my bed currently...
