The tank on my RAV is the same so I don’t think you would have gotten around that either way. It is the one annoyance - otherwise the RAV is the best car I’ve ever had. |
| We were on the fence a year ago between the CRV and RAV 4 and went with the RAV 4. What tipped the scales was the hybrid option and some of the safety features. We really like the blind spot indicator and the lane departure signal, and then the dynamic cruise control is pretty awesome - you put your car on cruise and it slows and speeds up based on traffic. |
We don't subscribe to the magazine anymore, but we get the on-line subscription only. It allows us to research products on the web-site with search tools. We don't use it as the only research, but it's one of several resources that we use when determining which model or brand of a given product to buy. |
| I had a lot of small issues with my rav4 that is about 10 years old. It seems like there are constant recalls on minor issues and well known larger issues, such as transmission failure. According to my mechanic, the motor may run forever, but I am starting to have to replace suspension and electrical parts. When I go online on the Toyota forums, these issues seem quite common. I don’t think I will buy another Toyota. |
