Israelgate - why was it deleted?

Diet and exercise. No program other than one I invented. We already had a rowing machine and an exercise bike that had been long neglected. We added a treadmill and I have been spending 20 minutes on the rower, 20 minutes on the bike, and 20 minutes on the treadmill every morning. Cutting way back on the amount of food I eat and paying attention to what type of food. I stick to a lot of fruit and some (probably should eat more) vegetables. No processed food. Then, I take the dog for a 2-mile walk every evening. This is roughly 100 minutes a day of exercise and not a lot of calories going in.

I highly recommend an Apple Watch for anyone interested in diet and exercise. The watch is great at tracking and encouraging movement and exercise. The MyFitnessPro app is very good for tracking food intake. The watch has probably been the single biggest factor in keeping me on track.

You should definitely start a dedicated weight loss forum!!

I am being accused of both having a hair trigger on any thread critical of Israel and being overly tolerant of anti-Semitism. That's a bit strange.

Yes, it is possible to be supportive of Jews, indeed even supportive of Israel, and to also be strongly critical of certain Israeli policies. It is also true that criticism of Israel often comes from posters who demonstrate obvious anti-Semitism.

Haha....no doubt, you have a thankless job! And yet I thank you for trying to steer down the middle of the road. But honestly, it does get tiresome when a poster makes a thoughtful comment about the treatment of Palestinians and immediately gets flames as an anti-semite.

Just as it also gets tiresome when a poster makes a thoughtful comment about illegal immigration and is immediately flamed as a racist. Wouldn't you say?

Similarly, I have seen many indications, including on this forum, where there is evidence that there are people who exhibit anti-Semitic attitudes along with anti-Israel attitudes, and Jews (or maybe other people, as well) who bring that up are immediately chastised.

OP of the thread....will you repost if Jeff leaves it up? I'm reading a lot of anti-Israel posts here and I'd like to read the opposite view as posited by posters here. (Personally, I think Israel - well, Netanyahu - is too aggressive on the settlements, but Israel is on the right side (no pun intended) on other issues. I'd welcome a discussion in which we weigh the good and bad aspects of Israeli policy.)

Thanks.

The thread was anti-Israel so you wouldn't have liked it. It was about the fact that Flynn was conspiring with Russia to protect Israel and, therefore, that was not a Russia scandal but and Israeli one. Hence, "Israelgate".

The call data shows this - not sure why you are downplaying it? Are you denying that kushner didn’t lean on Flynn to whip up unsc votes thereby actively trying to undercut a current admin’s policy?

Why not instead criticize the outgoing Obama's parting shot to an ally - Israel - by greasing the skids for an anti-Semitic vote by the U.N.? (Jerusalem is occupied terrority? Really?) I think it was fair that the incoming administration took steps to repair damage from Obama's last-minute action - which is also why as point of courtesy an outgoing administration usually does not take controversial action in the waning weeks.

I just want Jeff to call someone Bucko again.

Are you equating critical comments about Israel to anti-Semitism?

Liberal and transparently anti-semitic I would add.

Anti--catholic too, by the way.

I guess this forum is primarily pro-atheist and pro-jihad at the same time.

Go figure American "progressives"

You should exchange notes with the poster above who thinks I am too protective of Israel. Do you realize this thread was started because I deleted an anti-Israel thread?

BTW, do you regularly frequent anti-Semitic websites? Because, according to you, that is what you are doing when you use DCUM.

Wrong. You deleted it because the hatred from those on your site became apparent.

Listen Bucko, I've lost 30 pounds in the last 3 months and am in great condition. I can just about guarantee that I am more fit and have a lower BMI then you do. Please post your height and weight and lets compare notes.

Also, I essentially agree with the point of the thread. I am just tired of all the whiny passive aggressive posts by posters who can't get past their persecution complexes.

Congratulations! GREAT job at the weight loss. It's not easy!

Maybe you should take your fat self and go drag your knuckles on Reddit or 4Chan.

Conservative here. Take your nasty self and go elsewhere.

Me again - jumped too soon. I would, too, keep those posters off my site if I had one.
