Dumbo? The Tea Cups? Cars? Driving the cars at WDW? |
The point is is that it might be dark and a little loud but when you come out the other end you’re still alive. It’s scary good . |
| OP mentioned Roger rabbit ride. She's obviously talking about disneyland where the rides are scarier. Read the thread. |
Good! The more people like you who stay away, all the better for those of us who love it! Spread the word OP! |
I think you'll find that at a lot of amusement parks. For what it's worth, Fantasyland at MK is full of rides that are appropriate for little ones. |
|
Just FYI (for anyone else planning with this concern): this website gives a good synopsis of which rides are scary for kids on a sliding scale. Keep in mind that not all kids are the same - some 5 year olds are daredevils, and 10-12 year olds can be more timid.

I suspect OP was one of those parents who also complain about playgrounds full of elementary school students who whiz past her toddler.
OP- Disney is made for many ages, from toddlers to teenagers. You can't assume all the rides are appropriate for your young child. #duh |
We just got back (early November trip). Parts of the trip were rushed, but the weather was awesome and DS (6) had the time of his life. It does help to do some research and plan accordingly. |
Agreed--I haven't been to WDW with my kids but we did go to Disneyland and I have to agree with OP. Some of those rides, even in Fantasyland, are creepy. Then again, so are most Disney movies so not surprising. |
| I must be able to predict the future! They just announced they are ending the So Cal annual pass. Thank God. |
Pinocchio and Snow White are particularly scary and dark. Snow White even has scary in the title. I was glad when they got rid of it in WDW. |
Agreed. And this is from more than 10 years ago. Must have gotten worse now. So loud, it must be damaging ears, young and older. |
Teens go to other parks with extreme roller coasters rides. Disney gears toward younger kids |
Agreed. |
What happened on that ride? Curious. |
