Hotels and Sleeping Babies

This is the reason why we have not done a lot of traveling with our DD. I'm not interested in being in fabulous places where we are confined to a hotel after 8 p.m. What a downer and I'd be totally grumpy.

We stick close to home until she is a bit older and can hang out a bit later. Or:
1) we do trips where it is not a big deal, like renting a house at OBX with friends. It is easy to hang out on the deck or out back after she goes to bed.
2) see if family would be willing to come and stay with DD while we travel alone.

Just a thought since, for me, sitting in a hotel room is not a good option that I would tolerate well.
