I've seen so many references on DCUM about the Men's Warehouse(from the Kane/Natasha divorce thread, to the Kane show thread and now on here) . Can someone explain where that came from?

It came from me. It's where they will land when Kane disposes of them (given their lack of marketable skills). The girls might end up selling timeshares in Florida, but IJ will land at the Men's Warehouse. Once he gets some sales experience under his belt, he might have a shot at a career at Enterprise.

I do agree that Kane will eventually dismiss John. With the comedy tour and future gigs, it's only a matter of time before IJ gains the "Kane" image.


Here's an interesting plot twist.


What if IJ and Laura are actually engaged but the show wanted to stage a separation. Think of how much IJ could ruin Kane if he grew into that family man many of us liked about him in the first place.

The divorce announcement and subsequent references via radio and social media hurt his image hard. That arrest hurt his image. I don't want to dislike the show but the facade of Kane is gone. He's really Peter who has an OCD problem, publicly humiliated his children's mother on syndicated radio, and has only burned bridges with ex-hosts. I don't believe him anymore on the radio.

But IJ... You may think he's annoying now but you should have heard Kane on the radio at night in Tampa. He was a straight up jerk. He'd say things like "Hot ladies meet us at XYZ club tonight, if you're a fatty stay home". Granted this was the 2000's before our society's culture shifted away from that type of language, but he still said it! and often!

Imagine my surprise a decade later when I hear him on a morning show. He sounded like a completely different DJ.

If IJ marries Laura, settles down, grows up... he could be the new Kane.

And Kane can't have it.

She's honing her skills. One day she hopes to work the Bobbi Brown makeup counter at Nordstrom. If things go well with John's gig at the Men's Warehouse, he might have a chance at a gig at Nordy's.

Kane will be back in Tampa soon enough. It's a 50-50 split where he will land: mattress store owner or next day blinds.
