Exactly this. I live in unstructured flats at work but it's culturally acceptable unless you're going to big meetings. I keep a drawer full of structured flats and low heels for anything resembling a formal occasion, and I would certainly wear a formal shoe (flat or not) to an interviews. You need to get a hobby. Your wife is so accomplished that she landed a big interview at a great company. She doesn't need your wardrobe input. She's clearly an experienced professional. |
