I read a write up about them in the NYT wedding section back when they got married. Apparently they met at a resteraunt (or maybe in the bar of a resteraunt?).Hilaria was there with some friends & -- according to them, at least -- Alec was the one who approached her. She may have become his yoga instructer after they met, though.

I had a similar experience. I went to school with good ol' Mandy Rogers (said in an Aussie accent). You know her as Portia de Rossi and these days she pretends to not even remember how to do an Aussie accent.

I read something about this, too. She was at a restaurant standing with a group of friends when Alec saw her and was instantly attracted to her. He walked over to her and told her that he would like to get to know her better, he gave her his card and asked her to call him. Later she called him, they started to go out on romantic dates together but Alec didn't make a move on her until they had been dating for over a month. It's a really sweet story. Almost cute enough for a made for t.v. movie...

I interviewed for a nanny job with them back in 2014. Had a skype interview with Hilaria and then met them in person. She came off very very unfriendly in person. Was nice on skype interview but just didn't get a good vibe from her in person. Ended up telling the agency that I wasn't interested.

PP here- when I interviewed, they just had their one daughter. I would have been taking over from the baby nurse. The schedule I interviewed for was 24 hour days Monday-Thursday. They had a second nanny they were hiring for Friday-Sunday. I'm not sure how many nannies they have now but since there is now three kids, id guess at least 2 with a baby nurse probably just leaving last month as they had their first one until their daughter was one.

As far as veganism, I'm not sure but I was told that part of my job would have been making homemade, organic baby food.
