Sadly, that was probably true in her real life too! What I don't understand is the parties she went to and nobody blinked an eye at an 9 year old drinking alcohol and smoking cigarettes and then coke. Makes her movie mom seem the best.

I always assume those things are done because it's the easiest way for the camera to get the shot or works best for the scene,
