I wouldn't be surprised if DH had looked at them to get an insight into how their mind works. I know 100% he doesn't agree with their views (even though he leans conservative) and it would never cross my mind that he does

I've read some of the more offensive MRA posts on Reddit as a morbid curiosity into how some people really think. I've also read the One Million Mom's stuff before even though I think it's insane.

I've had AA friends read KKK websites (I know several actually) to get an idea as to what they are thinking.

I think it's pretty normal. What worries me most about your post is your assumption he's reading these things because he agrees with them. It seems like a weird place to automatically go.to

Good god. This is the kind of thing my DH does - and is hardly a white supremacist (his mother is a Hispanic immigrant). He's fascinated by the shit these people put out and can't believe others actually believe it. Hardly a day goes by where he doesn't regale me with the latest absurdity. I can't understand why you would even have a glimmer of suspicion about your DH unless, deep down, you know he agrees with the sentiments he finds on those sites. I have no doubts about why my DH is reading them.

I've read Stormfront out of curiosity. I wouldn't be surprised if most of the lurkers their are from the curious rather than white supremacists. I visit Drudge regularly, who often links to Brietbart. I think Stormfront is nuts, while Matt Drudge is clearly a paranoiac and Brietbart is basically the Gawker of the far right. I also lurk sites that are geared toward black and gays audiences. I just like to see how different demographics react to the similar events.

How did you figure out that your DH is visiting these sites?
