Yet another DC law found to violate our constitutionally protected rights

And you don't live in the hood you clueless yuppie. Why would anyone care about your opinion. You don't know what it's like to live in a drug and crime infested neighborhood, and you never will. Fear is a real thing for these people and they don't have the means to escape it. Your archaic gun control measures have accomplished nothing.

You're an idiot. I'm a DC resident in NE. I certainly DON'T want concealed carry.

What a vile response to the destruction of individual rights protected by the Constitution. I am so thankful ignorant and dangerous people like you only rarely make it onto our courts.

None of your rights are absolute. You seem to be the ignorant and dangerous one. Spent much time with Constitution?

You have the right to drink beer until pass out or die of alcohol poisoning. But you can't do it in the Coors Brewing Company headquarters building and you can't do it in Congress. There. See how stupid and simple-minded your logic is?

Well the NRA wants the freedom the carry everywhere but in their own building. How is that logically? Either it's a constitutional right and makes everyone safe or it is not. Your position is illogical. Oh I loved you in this video....idiot.

No one is ever going to FORCE you to carry.

It's just that people are good and tired of you FORCING them not to. And that's going to change, so you may as well accept it.

You don't get to force other people to be defenseless. Period.

You are responding to some strawman absolutism argument no one made. Are you a literal moron?

Bravo!

That really is the summation of the argument. Forcing people to be defenseless.

It's no different than banning abortion. A law IMPOSED on people, against their will, that affects the physical safety of the person making the CHOICE to be able to defend themselves. Telling a woman she can't carry a firearm to protect herself is the exact same as telling a woman she can't have an abortion.

Anti choice people are putting their own desires above the personal safety of those they don't like, who make the choice to protect themselves.

Disgusting.

I suspect most of the posters advocating for open/concealed carry in DC aren't even DC residents.

I DON'T feel safe if you are carrying. What kind of training do you have? Who are you? Are you going to actually freak out if you needed to use it? If you feel defenseless, don't come into our city.

This is the stupidest argument I have ever seen. If I have an abortion, I don't have to worry about killing you b/c I don't know what the hell I'm doing and have no training. Where did you learn logic, Kindergarten?

It's actually a brilliant argument. It fits perfectly.

It's a law, desired by one group of people, to be imposed on other people (that thru don't like, mind you) which has a profound impact on their personal safety.

I totally get it. I'm so stealing this.

This is a better argument - don't move into DC. How about that? Stay in VA or WVA or whereever the hell you are let us make our own laws.

The 2nd Amendment is not absolute. Get over it.

But a ban can be absolute? Is that how it works in your crazy-world?

Ok got it.

The Second Amendment is not absolute.... but having essentially an absolute ban on lawful carry is just fine.

Utter B.S.

And the courts are in agreement
