I am sure I would like OP's teens; it is OP I'm not so sure about. I dislike the "play coy" of kinda sorta. Really? How old are you, OP? Anyway, we both like and love our teens at our house and it is hard for us to think of any people with whom we would want to spend more time than our kids!

Me too! I am 40 and have teens and a tween. Love it! They drive me from the vineyard when I have too much wine; they drive to the grocery shops, dry cleaner, etc. I love, love, love it.

Teens get a bad rep. Mine are awesome. All the teens I know seem like nice kids, too.

So they're occasionally sulky. Me too! The rest of the time they are funny, smart and interesting.

Another thumbs up for teens - my two are way more enjoyable now than they were as toddlers - that was not the stage for me - 12-14 was a bit testy at times also
