Actually, congressional mandated (but not paid for) voucher programs can be exactly what you describe. But carry on.

Wrong. DC hasn't been educating all its children well for decades. Nobody has been voted out as a result.

That's exactly why we can't be trusted with our own oversight. The majority of our voters are incapable of holding officials accountable.
