I agree, my eldest child did very poorly on sequencing - 20th percentile and she is a very smart girl. So we took some time to understand the test. Got some learning materials on Amazon (Smarty Buddy workbooks and app, old tests, analogy books). We rquested to retake the test and got the official "gifted and talented" designation in our school file. Though GT school did not work out for our social child, having this designation helps in getting into hardest programs such as accelerated math.

Request that your DC retake the text the next year. Our DD’s scores were also crazy like that and we had her retested and they came back with a more expected range. The test isn’t reliable in my experience.
