Has anyone here ever seen "The Big Bus"? It's old (1976), but so, so funny. Our family watches it every time we go to the beach.

I think that age is good for Monty Python.

Also any of the Family Vacation movies.

Airplane is one of my favorite movies ever. I may have married my husband in part because he could recite almost the whole movie.
But those of you recommending it for 11 year olds are not remembering it well, or are only remembering the TV edited version (and even that had the abortion joke, the Turkish bath house joke, the blow up doll blow job joke....)

Duck Soup is very funny. My kids love that one., and other Marx Bros movies (ages 11, 10, 7)

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels

Anonymous wrote:"Planes, Trains and Automobiles" will be a good holiday movie for them...but it does have that F-bomb scene. But still. Very funny!

"Ferris Bueller's Day Off"

"Big"

"Mrs. Doubtfire"

"Home Alone"

Home Alone at 13? My kids started watching that at 5.

It's still a movie that tweens and adults will find funny. My 12 year old and I still enjoy the original Bugs Bunny cartoons.
