About the file, does anyone know what a blank cell versus a 0 means. Not applicable? It's crazy to me that some KIPP schools have such short wait lists. These are the schools I originally heard about years ago when charter growth was making national news.

Which one? Each offers different grades...

Just looked at the list a PP provided for charter schools, and my child apparently struck out even more than it's possible to strike out:

Latin 6th grade: 283 kids are said to be on the waiting list. My child's number remains in the 300s.

The new data shows 347 on the waitlist for 6th. Not that it's much consolation.

DCB's gotten so popular, compared to a couple years ago.

having a feeder really helped. And they have a nice building near Ft. Totten, where a lot of young families have moved. Plus there haven't been a lot of new bilingual charters (compared to montessori) while there are a lot more little kids, so that contributes too.

why does Bruce Monroe get to set a 60/40 split between Spanish and English dominant for PK? shouldn't that be 50/50?

My children are preK so I was looking at the KIPP schools that offer preK, specifically.
