Skynyrd, Jimmy Buffett (laugh if you will but he has spanned a few generations of music) Sinatra The Stones, The Who Even the likes of Micheal J will be around for a long time. as will classic artists like bach and Beethoven I like the Beastie boys, but, rap/hip/hop just won't last...it will evolve over time as rock has, but i doubt any one particular artist will have any legs to last. |

+1 definitely Bob Marley, Stevie Wonder and Prince. Sade For hip hop/rap, I think Biggie, A Tribe Called Quest and Lauryn Hill have lasting power. |
