Has anyone seen the new Bravo show Imposter?

really? I totally saw that coming. Gary turning Sally in, the 3 finding Maddie, and now poor Patrick becoming their next victim.

It actually pissed me off because it felt so predictable! I even remember thinking ".....please don't ruin this for me by becoming so predictable that I stop watching..."

I meant Max, not Gary!

I think Patrick is either also a grifter/con or is a Fed trying to take down the doctor and company.

I'm shocked that the doctor wouldn't know that he's in the FBI considering how much they learn about their targets first. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out.

maybe because he wasn't the original target.

Patrick is an accidental target, and he just became that target two episodes ago.

I think this plays out in two ways:

1) the 3 jilted spouses join forces with Maddie and create their own "imposter" team. All three of them are hard up for money and all still love Maddie so I think they will pretty much do anything just to be her.

2) Patrick reveals to Maddie that he's FBI because he's actually fallen in love with her, and he gives her immunity in exchange for turning Max and the doctor in.

Wow - that last episode! I saved all of them on my DVR so I could binge watch, and I'm so glad I did. I would *never* have predicted the ending, with Patrick walking into the FBI. I was so shocked! I'm wondering if perhaps he's not actually an agent, but instead working with the FBI to catch the imposter ring. Maybe he genuinely is a wealthy man who sold his company, etc., and was approached by the FBI to help lure Maddie and co. It seems like it would be a HUGE job to backstop his entire life (google searches, etc.) for the purposes of a sting. Also, when the focus turned to Patrick as the mark, Max said that his wealth totally checked out and the Doctor approved.

I find it hard to believe that Patrick is actually an FBI agent, but didn't even notice the car waiting outside his house with Richard in it.

I think the FBI is using Maddie to lead them to the Doctor, who is their primary target, and they've enlisted Patrick to help them do so.

PP again - I googled the actress who plays Maddie since I have never seen her before and was intrigued. She's actually Israeli, which explains why I've noticed her unusual accent. She is SO gorgeous!!

Did you miss last night? Patrick is really an agent and is targeting Maddie to get to The Doctor. This was all planned out.

I'm sure the FBI is using seized houses and cars to help with Patrick's front. He's obviously taking some risks to get to the Doctor by go above his allowed expenses like with the ring. He may or may not be developing sympathy for Maddie. I can't tell yet whether he will flip her. I'm the PP who guessed that Patrick was a Fed two episodes ago. Mostly because no one would cast Stephen Bishop as throw-away mark for the Doctor's crew or even just an accidental mark.

^^ PP What do you think happened to Uma and the other woman? I want to know how Gary knew The Doctor. Maybe they were former partners?

Yes, I saw that episode, but I still don't think Patrick is actually an agent. I think he's working with the FBI to help them catch the Doctor. I have no idea if this is correct, but it's my hunch. I think he's a private citizen who fit the profile of a typical "mark," so the FBI asked him to help.

They called him "agent" a bunch in the episode and the boss talked about how on other jobs he has gone over budget but not this much, so he is for sure an agent. The "saying no" part was confusing and I am not sure how they recover from that.
