Paying for college - strategy with 4 kids

This is not our experience. We have 2 kids in college, and we were surprised how little FA we received. Our EFC said we were eligible for FA, but we got nothing. I filled out the FAFSA and the CSS, but got nothing. Most colleges offered us some un-subsidized loans, but that doesn't count as FA to me.
