| The Wonder Years is a great suggestion. If she's mature, and if she likes sci fi, Stranger Things and the OA would also be good. |
|
Buffy!
My so called life. Not sure that's on netflix though. |
Why do so many posters respond without even reading the OP's first post??? |
Because people read the subject line and go to the last post to comment. I suggest The OA. If she likes sci-fi, Battlestar Galactica. |
+1 My 12 yo and I binged. |
Gilmore girls it brings you back... |
| Yes to Veronica Mars. What about The 100? Also, Call the Midwife and Roswell. |
The Magicians is interesting, but as a heads up it can be a bit over the top gory. More so than shows like Buffy. On that note, I recently watched Crazyhead on Netflix. It's awesome. Akin to Buffy. |
I enjoyed the Magicians but there may be more sex than you'd be comfortable watching with a teen ( I know I would). All the super hero shows can be fun - The Flash, Gotham, Arrow etc. |

I agree w/ Stranger Things.
Also watch A Series of Unfortunate Events. I watched the 1st episode last night and loved it. |
| Just finished the reboot of One Day at a Time. The storyline centers on the relationship between the mother and 15 year old daughter. |
+1. It's a cute show. I think the first season of Jane the Virgin is on Netflix now-it's smart and funny but maybe better for an 18 year old. |
| I second the 100 |
Reading comprehension. Try it. |

Definitely Friday Night Lights. One if the best things I watched with my teen--so much to talk about, such great characters.
We also really liked The West Wing, Felicity, and the Office. |
