Independent School Parent Opinions

I went to an independent because I didn't want to deal with the public school BS anymore (my kids transferred after several years in our local public). Why would I opt in to dealing with it again?

So angry and ugly. Support ALL schools--public, charter and independent. That does not mean you have to provide direct financial support OR that you cannot critique that which distresses you. But to wish less fruitful options on other people, because what you have does not serve (ie. bring down Oyster Mann etc.), or to feel that because you have opted out and are paying twice you should not be concerned about the fate of those who cannot afford to (our taxes pay, *snarl*)--well, that is between you and your conscience.
