Homestead skiing? vs Utah (Alta?) skiing for new skiing kids

Not in Utah but, I found Snowmass in Colorado a great place for beginners.

That is true but there are no snowboarders allowed at Alta and Deer Valley, which are both near Brighton. Also Brighton was the first in Utah to allow snowboarding, which is why I asked about whether it was predominately snowboarders.
